Knut is Tot

No, no, Knut is not really Tot (dead). But his handler is. And in Berlin this is a very big deal.



That photo was taken at the Berlin Zoo. Don't know who Knut is? Well, he's a polar bear. You know, the big white things that eat children who climb over the fence at the zoo but when they're little they're insufferably cute.

Knut was an Internet phenom for a while. And I'm guessing he's the reason they can charge twelve Euros to get into the Berlin Zoo.



He's so famous, that in Ku'damm the anti-meat brigade (aka advocates of the french-fries-and-candy diet) is trying to exploit him for a cause he most certainly wouldn't support.
